I'm a CS student in Toronto, and I'm looking for my first IT support, help desk or junior data analyst job.
Here's a mix of what I've built, from troubleshooting guides to data analysis and security tools. Every project has a live demo you can try.
I'm teaching myself digital forensics and working toward the GCFE certification. These three projects came out of that: one looks through logs for attacks, one digs through a disk image for evidence, and one checks suspicious emails.
Reads SSH, Windows and web server logs, flags things like brute force logins and new admin accounts, and maps each alert to MITRE ATT&CK. I built it to learn how a SIEM works, and the demo runs on made-up sample data.
I built this around a made-up insider data theft case. It hashes files, builds a timeline, catches renamed files and altered timestamps, carves deleted files out of a raw disk image, and keeps a tamper-evident chain of custody, all on made-up data.
This one checks an email's headers, sender authentication, links and attachments without opening anything. It scores each message, explains the score, and writes a summary you can paste into a ticket, and the demo uses made-up emails.
These three are about everyday help desk and data work.
Twelve step-by-step guides for common first-line problems like Windows startup issues, Wi-Fi, printers and account lockouts. Each one ends with a ticket note you can copy and paste.
I loaded Toronto's 2025 311 open data, about 500,000 requests, into SQLite and used SQL, pandas and matplotlib to see when and why people contact the city. One Python script runs the whole analysis.
A small Flask app that works like a help desk. Tickets have a priority, status, SLA due time and a resolution log, and a dashboard shows what's open. The demo uses made-up data and resets.

I'm Diogo, a CS student in Toronto. I started at Best Buy in 2019 as a Sales Advisor and moved to Geek Squad in 2022, where I was a Technology Specialist and a Senior Sales Manager. That's where I realized I love fixing people's tech problems, and it's the work I want to do full time.
I also started building websites for clients as a freelancer in 2022. I finished the Full-Stack Web Development diploma at Lighthouse Labs in 2023, then worked as a full-stack engineer at Maket and did a back-end contract for Sofvie in 2024.
These days I'm studying Computer Science at Toronto Metropolitan University. I've finished my first year and I expect to graduate in 2030. On my own time I'm teaching myself digital forensics and working toward the GCFE certification.
